Let's start with trash bags. For a box of 100 bags, is easily $10. That grocery bag you brought it home in cost nothing! Everybody hordes these bags like squirrels with nuts. Including me! Let's start using these grocery bags. Put them in the bathroom and home office waste baskets. Use them to pick up your dog's poop, instead of buying those expensive dog waste bags. Use them if you're moving. Wrap your dishes and breakables in them. I've even used plastic bags as "packing peanuts". There's so many uses for them. Just gotta get creative.
If it's one thing I hate buying, it's paper towels. I only use them for cleaning up around the toilet and that's it!
A rag can do everything a paper towel can. Plus it's eco-friendly. Clorox makes dish cloths specially treated with antimicrobial protection to resist the growth of odor-causing bacteria. I've had them for a couple of years and they still look like new.
You can replace toilet paper with lots of things. Leaves, magazines, bills, old pelts etc. I kid, I kid!
This is something we can't really replace. Well, you could, but I'm not sure you would want too.
We need our T.P.! Always buy the cheapest you can with or without a coupon. Also, a handy little tip for those who love to use a lot of toilet paper, when it's time to replace the roll, put the new roll on and sqeeeeze the roll. This stops the roll from giving you too much paper and you're less likely to take more. OR you can be like this guy.....
