Listen, just like most of you, I work. I don't have 70 hours a week searching for coupons online and in dumpsters. I don't wanna buy 30 bottles of mustard just because after coupons I make a nickle. Besides, Where am I going to store 30 bottles of mustard? I've attended couponing classes and still walked out dazed and confused about why anyone would buy 17 canister of Pringles for their children because all of it was a $1.00.
These Extreme Couponing people (some, not all.) have ruined shopping for us "normal people". How many times have you walked into a store, all excited because you have a high value coupon and your store is having a sale on that product? Only to discover tumble weeds where that product once sat? "REALLY?! You couldn't leave me ONE box of lime Jell-o?!" Now I know it's an "extreme couponer" (or as I like to call them "extreme pain in my ass's") because it'll be stocked the next day I go back and I know 50 people didn't just walk into that store and suddenly had a hankerin' for lime Jell-o. "Damn you, Extreme Couponers! I hope your stock pile gets unorganized and shit expires!"
Now I'll admit, I had dreams of being one of these shelf-clearers, but it was too time consuming collecting and cutting coupons and I don't think it's all that polite to clear a shelf of fully stocked product. If it's the last one on the shelf, different story! Take it! "Jesus saved it for me!", I always tell myself. My extreme couponing days were very, very short lived. I discovered I'd rather do other things beside sit-n-cut coupons all day. I toned it down. Instead of buying 10 boxes of Jell-o, I'll buy 2 or 3 and be just as happy.
This blog I wanna talk about my super-duper mild mannered couponing ways, deals I find at Price Chopper since a lot the couponing guru websites don't list Price Chopper deals, tips on saving money without coupons and an occasional review on a product or place.
My name is Jessica.
I'm not a coupon guru or a financial advisor. Just a lady wanting to tell you how I saved a buck.
Excellent! Can't wait for more
